2026 NAR REALTOR VOLUNTEER DAYS
Join NEAR on Saturday, May 30th for our community food drive benefiting the Merrimack Valley Food Bank at Market Basket locations in Lowell and Westford. We are seeking volunteers to help at each store entrance by greeting shoppers and collecting donations to support local families facing food insecurity. We are looking for at least two volunteers per door at each location, and all members, friends, and family are welcome to participate in this meaningful community event.
Join NEAR on Tuesday, June 2nd as we volunteer at Lazarus House Food Pantry to help support individuals and families in need throughout the Merrimack Valley. Lazarus House provides food, shelter, advocacy, and essential services to thousands of local residents facing hardship each year. We are looking for 4 volunteers for each shift, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–3:00 PM. Thank you for helping us give back and support our neighbors in need!
Join NEAR for our Daybreak Shelter Cookout as we come together to support and connect with residents in our community. Daybreak Shelter provides emergency shelter, meals, and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping create pathways toward stability and hope. We are looking for 4–5 volunteers to help cook, additional volunteers to bring side dishes, and members who are willing to spend time chatting and connecting with residents during the event. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, build community, and make a meaningful impact through fellowship and support.
Join NEAR for our Community Clean Up events in Dracut and Lowell as we work together to help keep our local communities clean and welcoming. Volunteers will assist with cleaning up local parks and public spaces, with exact park locations to be announced. We are looking for 5+ volunteers for each location to help make a positive impact while supporting community pride and beautification efforts.
